Personnel History:

Mr. Rodriguez's past experience includes working at the Spatial Science Laboratory at Texas A&M University where he had the opportunity to work on several GIS/GPS projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers and various other agencies. While at Texas A&M University Mr. Rodriguez's was in charged of mapped over 4 million acres for the Lower Mississippi Valley Division (St. Louis, Memphis, Vicksburg and New Orleans District) with ESRI and Intergraph products. The landuse coverage is still being used by US Army Corp of Engineers for various projects within the districts. He also mapped the Atchafalaya Basin for the New Orleans District. Mr. Rodriguez was in charged of converting dgn files for the GIWW from the Galveston District into ESRI coverages and also creating an Access database link with the dgn files. After working at Texas A&M Mr. Rodriguez's was hired by Space Imaging to incorporate Ikonos imagery for CADD/GIS projects for Government and private projects.

RazorTek LLC is a privately held GIS & Remote Sensing-consulting firm certified by the SBA as an 8(a) company March 2010. The company Headquarters is located in Germantown, Tennessee with an office located in North Richland Hills, Texas.

The company was established in 2002, the firm provides services and technology assistance to the Arc/INFO™ user community, including both public and private sectors. RazorTek specializes in design, development and automation of complex systems for spatial data display and analysis. Data conversion and quality assurance and quality control service are also offered to clients. 

Currently, RazorTek is embarking on an effort to increase its level of activity by offering GIS training, data conversion services to include imagery sales, processing, software sales, feature extraction, product development and finishing for Federal Mapping projects.

Imagery purchases

The list of clients who purchased satellite and aerial imagery are the following; St. Paul District, St. Louis District, Memphis District, Tulsa District, Fort Worth District, Rice University, Utah University, Texas A&M University, Texas State University, Stephen F. Austin University, Idaho Natural Guard, Florida University, Hawaii University, University of Texas, North Texas University, West Virginia EPA, Texas Forest Service, Statistical Research, Inc., Pacific Rim Mining Company, Denton, Texas, Forward Never Straight Productions, FTI Consultants, Applied Geologists, Petris, St Services, Pipeline Compliance, Global GeoScience, Washington County in Texas Dale County in North Carolina, Lufkin, Texas and Nacogdoches,Texas.

RazorTek has provided 6 inch imagery for Lufkin, Texas, Nacogdoches, Texas and Sam Rayburn Lake for the US Army Fort Worth District located near Jasper, Texas. RazorTek also completed several 2 foot imagery projects for Pipeline Compliance, Sam Rayburn lake and Town Bluff properties for the Fort Worth District.

Software purchases

The following clients purchased ArcGIS software from RazorTek in the past years: Pipeline Compliance, Acorn Services, JC Evans construction, NTB Associations,Wildlife Technical Services, El Paso County, Planning and Landscape Associates and Claiborne Parish. Pintrack (Motorola company) purchased Image Analysis for ArcGIS 8.3.  
The following clients has purchased GeoExpress (LizardTech) from RazorTek Texas Forest Services, Texas Tech University, Topographic Mapping, Freeze and McNichols Inc, USACE Pittsburgh District, NTB Associations, Dallas Central Appraisal District and Natural Gas Operations.

GIS projects

RazorTek has completed and started several mapping projects for Federal Agencies and private companies:

WaterWays Experiment Station on providing samples maps for Inland Electronic Navigation Charts (IENC) program with ArcGIS 9.2
RazorTek also completed a parcel database for Orbis Inc in joining attribute tables with parcel coverages and linking scan maps to the parcel layers. Presently RazorTek has completed two stormwater project as a subcontractor with NTB Associates on providing georeference construction plans for a stormwater project for the City of Shreveport and the City of Fort Worth

At the present time RazorTek is creating a Enterprise GIS with web applications for the United States Army Corp of Engineers Galveston District.

GIS software training

RazorTek has completed the following onsite ArcGIS training classes:

ArcGIS 8.3 5 classes for the Vicksburg District
ArcGIS 9.2 2 classes for the Vicksburg District, New Orleans District and Fort Worth District
ArcGIS 9.3 I and II for the St. Louis District
ArcGIS 9.3.1 I, II, and III at Elmendorf AFB located in Anchorage, Alaska
